"It better not be a good one...!!"
Saturday night we had some friends over for dinner. Not different from any other night. Just kids running playing and some nice engaging adult conversation. A few hours into our night, here comes Jaxon with his finger up his nose.
The now "infamous bead" it was pretty big considering the small nostril it was in
Jaxon "My nose hurt"
Friends husband "do you need to blow it?"
Jaxon "yeah"
Friends husband " uh, Afton, Jaxon's nose hurts"
Me with tissue in hand "Jaxon, lets see, Blow!"
Then he just start crying and screaming!! so i tilt his head up and look up his nose....low and behold, a BEAD was shoved up there! In the back of my mind i kept thinking, "it better not be a good one, i make jewlery out of!"
So one trip to the ER later, one bead extracted from a nose! I wish i could say that he won't do this again, but this is Jaxon we are talking about. And Grammy told us that daddy was just like this, so i'm sure this isn't the end....

good one jaxon... geez afton, can't you keep an eye on your kids? haha.
Logan did this when she was little..."Mommy, I lost my little ball!" And then I discovered she'd shoved an orange bead (looks exactly like Jax's actually) up her nose. And we hit the ER too!
I was thinking--just like his daddy! Emm has actually stuck a few things up her nose. It must be an Alder trait. Jared had to take her to the ER for a blue crayon. I thought it was funny, but he wasn't amused.
